The body length is from 6 to 9 cm, the maximum length is 20 cm. The color is white without a pattern, however, individuals with a yellowish tint are found in the Puget Sound region. The gills of this mollusk, consisting of seven fluffy plumes and large retractable rhinophores , consisting of 20-24 conical outgrowths, attract themselves [2] .
It feeds on sponges, mainly Halichondria panicea and representatives of the genera Myxilla , Mycale , Stylissa , Tedania , Craniella and Syringella [3] .
Rarely found in the intertidal zone, most likely, it can be found in the sublittoral zone at a depth of 25 meters. Doris odhneri is a hermaphrodite and mates on the right side of the body. Elegant ribbon-like masonry is laid and attached to the substrate. In each clutch, as a rule, from 8 to 12 eggs .
