History
The first name is Science Avenue. It was renamed after the death of Academician founder Academician M. A. Lavrentyev (1900-1980).
According to the Master Plan for the development of Akademgorodok, it was divided into three zones: the institute and two residential. Through all three zones there was one U-shaped highway from three straight streets (modern Prospekt Stroiteley , Prospect Akademika Lavrentieva and Morskoy Avenue ), the ends of the highway overlook Berdskoye Shosse , passing by Akademgorodok [1] .
