Ixodes marmotae (lat.) - a species of ticks of the genus Ixodes from the family Ixodidae . North America Parasitize on mammals : among the hosts are marmots and ground squirrels . The species was first described in 1938 by the American parasitologist Glen Milton Kohls (Glen Milton Kohls, 1905-1986) with co-authors [1] [2] [3] [4] .
