Biography

Born in Tbilisi on June 12, 1965 , studied at Tbilisi Secondary School No. 55, in 1989 he graduated from Ivan Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University , Faculty of Philology (red diploma), and studied at the Diplomatic Academy of Georgia from 1999 to 2001.

In 1987 - 1989 was the founder and chairman of the Youth Association for the Protection of Monuments. In 1989, he founded the Children's Aesthetic and Educational Institution and was the director from the day of foundation until 1996 . From 1998 to 1999, he worked as first secretary of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, and in 1999 - 2000 . was the head of the press center. In 2000 - 2001 He was transferred to the post of Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Policy Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia .

In 2001 - 2005 worked as Advisor at the Georgian Embassy in Azerbaijan. From 2005 to 2007 served as Head of the Office for Cultural Heritage and Relations with the Diaspora, and from 2007 to 2009. - Advisor position at the Georgian Embassy in Russia. From 2009 to 2013 served as Senior Advisor at the Embassy of Georgia in Ukraine. In 2013-2014 Acted as Ambassador to Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.

From June 2 to July 22, 2014, he served as Deputy State Minister of Georgia for Diaspora Affairs, and on July 26, 2014 he was appointed to the post of State Minister of Georgia for Diaspora. [1] In 2014—2016 chaired the Commission on the transfer of Georgia to the estates acquired by the Government of the First Democratic Republic of Georgia in France. On September 23, 2016, he signed the Act on the return of Georgia to Le Ville estates. In 2016, Le Ville of Georgia was awarded a medal for his contribution to the return of the Estate.
