Connection History
The 2nd Guards Tank Tatsinsky Red Banner, the Order of the Suvorov Division dates back to 1942 - since the formation of the 2nd Guards Tank Tatsinsky Red Banner, the Order of the Suvorov Corps.
In July 1945, the 2nd Guards Tank Corps was reorganized into the 2nd Guards Tank Division, with the transfer of the division of awards and honorary title. The place of deployment was determined to be the city of Võru ( Estonian SSR ). The division was directly subordinate to the Leningrad Military District (LVO).
Since the beginning of 1956, in connection with the introduction of a new system of military districts, as a result of which the Baltic Military District (PribVO) was formed, the division was redeployed to the Vladimir camp (main units) and Garbolovo (headquarters), remaining subordinate to the LenVO .
In April 1968, the 272nd Guards Motorized Rifle Red Banner, Suvorov Order Regiment was transferred to the 41st Motorized Rifle Division (post-war formation). Instead, the 416th motorized infantry regiment was reassigned to the 456th motorized rifle regiment (the castling was caused by the entry of troops of the 39th army into the MPR). In the spring of 1970, the division (which was the only tank division of the LenVO ) was redeployed to the MPR in the city of Choibalsan , becoming part of the 39th combined arms army of ZabVO. After the departure of the division in the Vladimir camp, a cropped 250th reserve motorized rifle division of the LenVO was formed.
In connection with the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Mongolia and the disbandment of the 39th combined arms army, in the spring of 1990 the division was stationed on Soviet territory ( Bezrechnaya station , military unit 49539, and Mirnaya station, ZabVO ) [1] .
In the spring of 2001, the division was reorganized into the 3742th CBRT, disbanded in 2005, awards and the honorary name of the division were transferred to the 245th motorized rifle division (post-war formation) (in Gusinoozersk ).
Since 2009, the 5th separate Guards Tank Tatsinskaya Red Banner, the Order of the Suvorov Brigade with a place of deployment on the territory of the Lower Town in the garrison " Divisional ", Ulan-Ude ( ZabVO ; ). [2]
