Participant in a number of RSFSR championships (the best result was in 1949 - 5–8 places), semi-finals of the USSR championships (XVII - 6–9 places). In the show tournament in Rostov-on-Don (1941) and the Masters Tournament in Riga (1954), he took the 2nd place.
