Heinz Roch ( German Heinz Roch , January 17, 1905 , Essen - May 10, 1945 , Trondheim ) - SS Oberführer , served as chief of the SS and the police of the General District of Crimea-Tavria .

Biography
Born in a working class family. In 1922 he joined the Nazi Party , participated in sabotage during the Ruhr conflict . He was arrested, later amnestied. After that he left the NSDAP and joined Frontbann [1] .
In 1926, Heinz Roch enters the SA and returns to the NSDAP. In 1930, Roch enters the SS. In 1928-1931 worked as a car salesman. After that, he worked as a department head in the Nationalzeitung newspaper in Essen. In 1933 he was a deputy of the Prussian Landstag of the fifth convocation until its dissolution. After this, Heinz Roch became a member of the Reichstag from the Nazi Party in the 23 Düsseldorf-West constituency [2] .
In the 1930s, Roch was in several positions at Standart SS . In 1934 he received the title of Oberführer. After the outbreak of World War II, he participated in the French campaign as part of the SS SS Totenkopf 3rd Division . From January 1942 to March 1943 he worked in the Highest SS and the Russia-Center Police ( Russland-Mitte ). From March to December 1943, he served as chief of the SS and the police of the General District of Crimea-Tavria. From May 1943 to May 1944 he was the head of the SD in Simferopol . From July to October 1944, he served as chief of the SS and police in Bialystok , and from the end of November to May 8, 1945 in Trondheim ( "Nord-Norwegen" ) [3] .
May 10, 1945, committed suicide in Trondheim [4] .
