Surovtsev, Anatoly Mikheevich

Anatoly Mikheevich Surovtsev was born on May 29, 1935 in the family of workers at the Khrompik station of the Sverdlovsk region , now the city of Pervouralsk .

Since 1940, together with the family, moved to the parents of the father and mother in the village of Chebachye, Chastoozersky district of the Chelyabinsk region (since 1943 - Kurgan region ), from an early age he worked as a tractor trailer on a collective farm, with his mother he harvested forest for the farm of the village of Pashkovo, Petukhov district of the same areas. In 1952 he graduated from the school of factory training number 2 (FZO number 2; later GOU NPO PU number 5; from 2013, after the merger with PU number 4 - Kurgan College of building technologies and urban economy) in Kurgan , specializing in bricklayer, after which worked at construction sites ^[1] . Since 1952, he worked as a brigadier of the first integrated team of bricklayers in the region, participated in the construction of a number of industrial, social facilities and residential buildings. He participated in the construction of the Kurgan CHP, the Kurgan Machine-Building Plant , the Palace of Builders, residential buildings along the streets of Gogol and Kolya Myagotin .

In 1954 - 1957 he served in the Soviet Army ^[2] in the Moscow region. In the 2nd Guards Taman Division he was appointed head of the secret clerical work of the Political Department of the division, from where he was demobilized as a foreman ^{[3] [4]} .

From 1957 he lived in Moscow , worked first at the Goznak factory, then at construction trust No. 4. He participated in the construction of the Congress Palace , the Russia cinema, the Palace of Pioneers , the Library of Foreign Literature , and many objects in Zelenograd . From 1966 he worked as a foreman of the integrated team of the installation management number 5 of the house-building factory number 1 of Glamosstroy. Surovtseva Brigade has built a huge number of large-panel residential buildings in all districts of Moscow. In 1977, he was awarded the State Prize of the USSR for "a significant increase in the efficiency and quality of construction work based on integrated mechanization, the effective use of technology and best practices" ^[2] .

By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of August 9, 1979, Anatoly Mikheevich Surovtsev was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Medal of Serpent for “outstanding industrial success achieved in large-panel housing construction and the high quality of residential houses erected in Moscow”. Hammer ” ^[2] .

In 1980 he was elected delegate to the XXVI CPSU Congress and spoke on behalf of the builders at the congress.

In 1987 he graduated from the evening faculty of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations with a degree in Economist in International Economic Relations. Since 1983, for nine years he worked as secretary of the Central Committee of the Builders' Trade Union, supervised major construction projects in the USSR.

He was elected a deputy and a member of the executive committee of the Moscow Soviet , a member of the CPSU city ​​committee, a member of the city committee of trade unions of builders, the chairman of the council of youth mentors in Moscow, the chairman of the Council of Heroes of the Soviet Union and Socialist Labor at the foundation of veterans of builders of Moscow.

After the collapse of the USSR, he was engaged in entrepreneurship, since 2000 he was the general director of the construction company Gerstroy-S LLC.

Currently living in Moscow is actively engaged in social activities ^[2] . Member of the Central Board of the Moscow Builders Pension Fund, member of the Central Board of the All-Russian Public Organization “Labor Valor of Russia”, member of the Supervisory Board of the Russian Academy of Psychology ^[5] . In 2012, Surovtsev was invited to the State Duma to the forum, where he made a presentation entitled “Training of construction workers and the quality of construction in the country”.

Scholarships are awarded by the name of Anatoly Mikheevich Surovtsev ^[6] .
