Ardisia saligna (lat.) - a species of dicotyledonous plants of the genus Ardisia ( Ardisia ) of the family Primrose ( Primulaceae ). First described by German botanists Karl Christian Mets in 1902 [2] [3] .

Distribution and habitat
Endemic to the Philippines , known from the islands of Luzon and Polillo [4] .
It grows in forests at an altitude of about 300 m [5] .
Botanical Description
Branches are bare [6] .
The leaves are pointed [6] .
Flowers are collected in an inflorescence umbrella. Flowers with ovoid sepals, spotted petals [6] .
