Club career
Piett is a graduate of the Mets and Fortuna clubs. On April 4, 2014, in his match against Paderborn , he made his debut for the Düsseldorf team in the Second Bundesliga [2] . In the summer, Samuel moved to the Spanish “ Deportivo La A Coruña ”, but he could not make his debut for the main team, speaking for understudies . In the summer of 2015, Piett, on loan, moved to Racing from Ferrol . On August 22, in a match against Arandin , he made his debut for a new club [3] .
In the summer of 2016, Samuel moved to Isarra . On August 27, in a match against Palencia , he made his debut for a new team [4] .
In the summer of 2017, Piett returned to his homeland, signing a contract with Montreal Impact . On August 17, in his match against the Chicago Fire , he made his MLS debut [5] .
International Career
In 2011, as part of the youth national team of Canada, Piett took part in the junior world championship in Mexico . At the tournament, he played in matches against the teams of Uruguay [6] , England [7] and Rwanda [8] .
On June 4, 2012, in a friendly match against the US national team, Piett made his debut for the Canadian national team , replacing Julian De Guzman in the second half [9] .
In 2013, Samuel was included in the application for the national team to participate in the CONCACAF Gold Cup . In the tournament he played in the match against. In the tournament he played in matches against the national teams of Martinique [10] and Mexico [11] . In the same year, Piett played for the youth team at the CONCACAF Youth Championship . At the tournament, he played in matches against the teams of Cuba [12] , USA [13] and Nicaragua [14] .
In 2015, Samuel was included in the application of the national team for participation in the CONCACAF Gold Cup [15] . In the tournament, he played in matches against Jamaica [16] and El Salvador [17] .
In 2017, Piett entered the CONCACAF Gold Cup for the third time. In the tournament, he played in matches against the teams of French Guiana [18] , Costa Rica [19] , Honduras [20] and Jamaica [21] .
Piett was included in the Canadian national team for the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2019 [22] [23] [24] . At the tournament, he played in matches against the teams of Martinique [25] and Cuba [26] .
