Sports Biography

At competitions under the auspices of FIS, Roberts began performing in early 2003. The first few years, Rohde took part in competitions held in Austria. In 2004, Rohde spoke at the World Youth Championship, but he was not able to get into even the top 30 in any of the disciplines. In 2005, Roberts made his first appearance at the adult world championships , but neither in slalom nor in giant slalom he failed to complete both attempts. In total, Rohde took part in six world championships. The best result at the world championships is the 42nd place, won in downhill skiing at the 2013 championship in Schladming, Austria. In the World Cup, Bydlinsky made his debut on November 28, 2009 at the stage in Canadian Lake Louis. Only once the Latvian athlete managed to get into the top 30 strongest at the World Cup - this happened on February 12, 2012 in Sochi , when Rode became the 29th in the super combination.

In 2010, Roberts Rode made his debut at the Winter Olympics . The Latvian athlete started at two distances: in the downhill, Rode took 58th place, and in the super combination he failed to complete the first part of the competition. At the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Roberts performed in three disciplines, but Rode was able to get to the finish line again only in the downhill race , taking 47th place in it and losing to the champion Austrian Matthias Mayer for more than 11 seconds.
