Biography
Born in 1937 .
After graduating from high school, he became a policeman, having passed all levels from a cadet to a colonel. In 1965 he had the rank of police captain. Later he worked as the head of the Cheryomushkinsky police department of Moscow. On August 2, 1974, police colonel Lev Mikhailov Lvov went to the call, where an armed man locked himself in an apartment with a gun and said that he would kill anyone who approached him. In a shootout, the criminal was detained, and the policeman Lviv was mortally wounded. Posthumously he was awarded the Order of the Red Banner.

Commemorative plaque to Lev Lvov
- The name of the policeman, at the request of the residents of the Cheryomushkinsky district of Moscow, was assigned to an unnamed lane between ul. Kedrova and st. Krzhizhanovsky. [one]
- A memorial plaque was installed on one of the houses of this street , where it says: “LVOV Street was named in 1988 in memory of the first head of the Cheryomushkinsky police department who died in the line of duty of Lev Lev Mikhailovich (1937-1974) . ” [2]
