Sudak Valley ( Ukrainian Sudak Valley , Crimean-Tat. Sudaq vadiysi, Sudak vadisi ) - a valley on the southeastern coast of the Crimean Peninsula . Adjacent to the Black Sea coast in the area of Sudak Bay . More than a million years ago it was an underwater terrace. On three sides it is protected by mountains and is open only from the south: it is bounded by Ai-Georgiy mountain from the east, Alchak cape by the sea, covered by the wooded Perch mountain from the west, and Taraktash ridge from the north. The width of the Sudak Valley varies from 0.2 to 2.5 km. Its length (along with the Suuksinsky valley) is 13 km. The river Sudak flows through the valley. In the Sudak Valley is the city of Sudak and the village of Dachnoe .
