Clash is a British magazine about popular music and fashion. Following the liquidation of Clash Music Ltd, it is published 10 times a year by the publisher of Music Republic Ltd [1] . Clash separated from the Scottish free classified magazine Vibe in 2004 [2] , and in the same year won the “Best New Magazine” in the PPA Magazine Awards [3] . The magazine covers such modern groups as, for example, The Horrors , Florence & The Machine and Jamie xx , as well as hip-hop artists - DJ Shadow , Kanye West and Beastie Boys , all of which have been included in the latest issues [4] .

ClashMusic.com
ClashMusic.com was launched in early 2008. A website often covers a wider variety of genres than the magazine that generated it, for example, contains information about artists like Gonjasufi or Perfume Genius , as well as up-and-coming artists. At the end of 2011, Clash changed its design. The design of the site was aligned with the print edition in October 2012.
Essential 50
March 30, 2009 ClashMusic.com begins publishing Essential 50 - a list of 50 albums that the website considers “the greatest, most significant and flawless albums in the history of Clash” [5] . Compiled only from albums published over the past five years [6] , the list was published in sections of four albums, with the first ten of fifty published separately between April 15 and 24, 2009 [6] [7] . The first place went to the group Arcade Fire with the album Funeral [6] .
