Content
History
It was created in accordance with the order of the Government of the Russian Federation of May 5, 2007 No. 566-p [1] by reorganization in the form of a merger of 143 federal state institutions - 76 state seed inspections and 67 territorial plant protection stations .
Earlier, in accordance with the order of the Government of the Russian Federation of August 13, 2006 No. 1114-r of the Federal State Institution “State Inspectorate of Russia”, 36 territorial departments of the State Bread Inspection were transferred.
Activities
Government work (for the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia)
- collection, processing, analysis and synthesis of statistical information, data, etc. in the field of crop production;
- preparation of the annual "Review of the phytosanitary condition of agricultural crops in the Russian Federation and the forecast for the development of harmful objects" ;
- carrying out measures to prevent and destroy pests, to prevent and combat plant diseases in order to prevent emergencies caused by local natural and other phenomena.
Public services (for legal entities and individuals)
- determination of sowing qualities of seeds and their study for the presence of pests and pathogens;
- determination of varietal qualities of seeds;
- study of the phytosanitary situation in the territory of the Russian Federation; [2]
