Muotkatunturi ( Finnish. Muotkatunturin erämaa ) is a protected area located in the communities of Utsjoki and Inari , Finland. It was founded in 1991. The total area of 1570 km 2 (610 sq. Miles). Managed by the Finnish Forest Service [1] .

There are no public roads or hiking trails on the territory. There are only a few individual huts. In the north-eastern part there are extensive swamps, in the north there is a chain of fjelds and a system of several rivers, and in the south-west there is a pine forest. The highest point is Mount Quarvicozza (590 m).
