Myrmecium bifasciatum (lat.) Is a species of myrmecomorphic spiders of the genus Myrmecium from the family of Corinnidae spiders ( Corinnidae ). Neotropics : Brazil and French Guiana . They live on the leaves. A polymorphic species, which, due to the elongated body shape with constrictions and a small rounded stalked abdomen, resembles ants of two types. The yellow morph of the spider Myrmecium bifasciatum is similar to the Megalomyrmex ants, and the black morph is similar to Camponotus [1] .
