Geography
The village of Olkh is located about 5 km northwest of Ukholovo .
History
The village of Tolstye Alders was first mentioned in 1676 as part of the parish of the Intercession Church in the village of Pokrovskoye . In 1701, in the village of Tolstye Alders, the Intercession Church was consecrated [2] .
In 1905, the village was part of the Yasenevsky volost of Ryazh district and had 348 yards with a population of 2,439 people [3] .
