Madagascar boas ( lat. Acrantophis ) - a genus of snakes of the boa subfamily. There are two species in the genus that inhabit the islands of Madagascar and Reunion . Phylogenetically closest to the boas of the New World and some Pacific islands.

The body length is from 1.5 to 2.5 m. They feed on birds and small mammals. They give birth to live cubs . In the litter from 3 to 8 individuals.
Both species are included in the IUCN Red List and Appendix 1 of the Convention on International Trade. They are among the rarest species of snakes.
