Denigomodu ( Eng. Denigomodu ) is the county (unit of administrative division ) of Nauru . Located in the western part of the island. The area is 1.18 km², the population is 2,827 people ( 2005 ). In the district there is a working village of the Nauruan Phosphate Corporation for phosphate rock mining workers, an NFC hospital, company facilities, as well as a general hospital.
