Biography

Alexander Nikolaevich Krylovsky was born on February 7, 1898 in the village of Seletsk now in the Safonovsky district of the Smolensk region.

World War I and Civil War

In May 1917, he was drafted into the ranks of the Russian Imperial Army and sent to study at the ensign school, after which in December of that year, he was demobilized from the army as an ensign . Then in Smolensk he worked as a controller in the Office of Nationalized Estates.

In October 1919 he was drafted into the ranks of the Red Army , after which he was sent to the 93rd Infantry Regiment (31st Brigade, 15th Army ), where he served as platoon commander for assignments under the battalion commander of the same regiment, and in June 1920 He was appointed assistant chief of staff of the 31st Infantry Brigade. He took part in hostilities against troops under the command of General N. N. Yudenich near Petrograd , as well as during the Soviet-Polish war - in hostilities in the areas of Molodechno , Lida , Warsaw and Minsk .

In October 1920, Krylovsky was sent to courses of chiefs of communications and staff commanders of the Western Front , after which in June 1921 he was appointed assistant chief of the operational part of the headquarters of the troops of the Petrograd region .

Interwar

In December 1921 he was appointed to the post of chief of the operational department of the headquarters of the Minsk region troops, in May 1922 - to the post of assistant chief and chief of the operational combat unit of the headquarters of the Special Forces in the Smolensk province , in February 1923 - to the post of first assistant chief CHON headquarters there, since June - head of the operational intelligence, then organizational and training departments of the CHON headquarters of the Western Front. In October 1928, he was sent to advanced training courses in intelligence under the 4th Directorate of the Headquarters of the Red Army , after which in July 1929 he was appointed assistant chief of the 1st part of the headquarters of the 29th and 9th Rifle Divisions ( Belarusian Military District ), in April 1932 - to the post of assistant chief of the 1st part of the headquarters of the Novograd-Volynsky fortified area , in February 1937 - to the position of assistant chief of the 1st section of the headquarters of the 15th rifle corps ( Kiev Military District ), in February 1940 year - to head t ktiki Lviv Infantry School , and in December - to the post of Chief of the Training Division of the Kirov Infantry School .

World War II

With the outbreak of the war, Krylovsky was in his previous position and in October was appointed to the post of chief of staff of the 47th separate infantry brigade , in February 1942 - to the post of chief of staff of the ski group of the 1st shock army , in May - to the post of senior assistant to the chief, and in November, to the post of chief of the operational department of the headquarters of the same army. He took part in hostilities during the Demian operations .

In February 1944 he was appointed to the post of chief of staff of the 93rd Rifle Corps , which he temporarily commanded from May 15 to 24 of the same year. The corps took part in the fighting in the Idritsky direction, and then in the Rezhitsa-Dvina , Madona , Riga , Warsaw-Poznan , East Pomeranian and Berlin offensive operations .

Post-War Career

Since July 1945, Krylovsky served as head of the operational training department of the Operations Directorate of the headquarters of the Central Group of Forces .

Since January 1948, he was at the disposal of the Ground Forces Personnel Administration in the 2nd Division and in March of the same year he was appointed head of the Combined Advanced Training Course for officers of the East Siberian Military District . In February 1950, he was sent to study for advanced training courses for commanders of rifle divisions at the M.V. Frunze Military Academy , after which in June 1951 he was appointed the head of the Military Commandant's School , and in July 1953, the head of the military Department of the Lviv Institute of Physical Culture .

Major General Alexander Nikolaevich Krylovsky in June 1957 resigned. He died on August 15, 1965 in Lviv .
