Chloro (pentacarbonyl) rhenium forms white crystals of rhombic syngony , space group P nma , cell parameters a = 1.1686 nm, b = 1.1661 nm, c = 0.6069 nm, Z = 4, isomorphic to chloro (pentacarbonyl) manganese or bromo (pentacarbonyl) manganese [1] .
It is poorly soluble in petroleum ether , it is well soluble in polar solvents: dichloromethane , tetrahydrofuran .
