The Ruver Valley is part of the Mosel-Saar- Rouwer wine region near Trier in Rhineland-Palatinate . It is famous for its Riesling wines.

In the lower part of the Ruwer Valley are the villages of Waldrach , Casel , Mertesdorf and the city of Trier .
