In the USA, the series received a Nielsen household rating of 9.7, which means that 16.9 million people watched the series on the day of release.
The protagonists of the series are Dana Scully ( Gillian Anderson ) and her new partner John Doggett ( Robert Patrick ), FBI agents investigating complex scientifically explainable crimes called “The X-Files” [1] .
Story
Scully, Doggett, and Skinner discover several aliens abducted. Doggett calls Agent Monica Reis to assist in the matter. Scully's fears about Mulder are renewed with renewed vigor when one of the abductees is suddenly recovering from a critical state.
