Mitch Craig Pileggi ( born Mitch Craig Pileggi , born April 5, 1952 ) is an American actor, best known for his role as Walter Skinner in the television series The X-Files . Also from 2012 to 2014, he starred in the television series " Dallas " [2] .

Biography
Born in Portland , Oregon , in a military family. His father's work was associated with frequent relocations, the Pileggi family lived in Texas , California , and also for quite some time in Turkey . At school, Mitch played football and wrestling . He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin , worked under contract in Iran , until the Islamic Revolution forced them to flee with his brother to Greece , from where they later returned to the United States .
Mitch's first wife was Debbie Andrews ( 1978-1983), the second in 1996 was Arlene Warren . In 1998, their daughter Sawyer was born. Later, in The X-Files, Erlen played the episodic role of Secretary Walter Skinner.
