Waltz on a banana peel (film, 1987)

Hungary , mid 80s. It so happened that the tangle of events united personal drama and an important official event, strangers to this. The main character works as a doctor, a former athlete succeeds in the profession. One day an extraordinary event occurs, a protest or just a trick of a woman who has had a nervous breakdown. On the day of the holiday of all workers, an employee of the institute throws a typewriter out the window, strips and goes naked along the main street. It happens in the center of the city, around the mass of reporters, police and a crowd of people, because it is here that the official event is in full swing. The hero of the film is trying to help violate order and public morality. The doctor was just in a hurry to the registrar to register his marriage with his beloved woman. But the desire to throw a raincoat on the stripped stranger will result in very big troubles for the hero. His passport remains in the raincoat, so the marriage cannot be registered, and the incident itself and his deed fall on the pages of local newspapers, which could not but affect the further fate of the doctor, and from that moment his life changes greatly. The film tells an unusual story, full of absurdity and fundamental truths. The hero will not stop in the desire to make his life different, even when he befell a deep disappointment.
