Biography
He was born on June 17, 1928 in the city of Bashtanka of the Nikolaev region in a peasant family. Schooling was interrupted by the Great Patriotic War.
Immediately after its completion in 1945, Vasily Terentyevich enters the tractor courses at the Bashtan MTS. So began the work of a 17-year-old boy.
Most of his life was given by Vasily Terentyevich to his native land. He worked as a tractor driver, then in 1952, when he was created collective farm. The Comintern, Ereshko began to work as an accountant for a field brigade, and later as a foreman. He worked in good faith, under his leadership, the team achieved good results, so Vasily Terentyevich was appointed manager of the 2nd division of the collective farm.
In 1966, the farmers of this plot collected 32.2 centners of winter wheat on an area of 970 hectares. This was a great achievement in the cultivation of grain, so the department manager of that year was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor . He was a delegate to the XXIV Congress of the CPSU (1971).
He continued his work until 1988, devoting his knowledge and labor to his native land, passing on his wealth of experience to the younger generation. In 1988, Vasily Terentyevich retired.
Died November 5, 2004.
