Biography

Born January 24, 1934 in Moscow. Died in 2014. His father, Gennady Vasilievich Aleksenko - Minister of Communications Industry of the USSR (1947-1953).

In 1957, Andrei Gennadevich Aleksenko graduated from the Moscow Energy Institute named after M.I. Kalinin.

Place of employment: from 1957 to 1990 - NII-885 (current OJSC “Russian Corporation of Rocket and Space Instrument Engineering and Information Systems .” At the institute, he went from an engineer to the department head - the chief designer in the direction.

He took part in the creation of the country's first transistor transceiver, which were transmitted to Earth photographs of the far side of the moon , satellite devices on microcircuits, etc.

For outstanding services in creating models of new equipment by Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR ("closed") dated August 28, 1986, Aleksenko Gennadyevich Aleksander was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal "Hammer and Sickle."

From 1962 he taught at the Moscow State Mining Institute (today - Mining Institute NUST "MISiS" ), from 1965 to 2004 - associate professor, head. Department of Moscow Engineering Physics Institute [1] , since 2005 - Head. Department of Moscow Power Engineering Institute.

He lived in Moscow, died on April 6, 2014.
