Oketani, Hiromi

Hiromi Oketani ( 桶 谷 弘 美 Oketani Hiromi , born 1946 ) is a Japanese musicologist.

Graduated from Osaka University. He teaches at Soin University in Osaka . He is the author of several books on the theory and methodology of teaching piano , two collections of easy-to-play and easy-to-learn piano pieces.

Oketani's article about the dog waltz published in the scientific notes of Soin University for women and, in particular, the collection of the names of this musical work collected in it in different countries, gained fame.
