Cooper began his career at the Arab Unido Club. In 2006, he made his debut for the team and for 5 seasons in the club three times became the champion of Panama.

In 2011, he moved to the Argentinean Godoy Cruz . On August 18, in a match against Racing from Avellaneda, Armando made his debut in the Argentine Example [2] . On September 22, in a duel against Union Sant Fe , he scored his first goal for a new team [3] . Since the second season, Cooper has become less likely to get into the main team. In 2013, Armando transferred to the Romanian Ocelul on a leasehold basis to receive gaming practice. On October 7, in a duel against the CFR Cluj , he made his debut in the Romanian championship [4] . On April 18, 2014, in a match against Gas Methane , Cooper took a double, scoring his first goals for Ocelul [5] . After the lease ended, Armando returned to Godoy Cruz, where he ended the contract six months later.

In early 2015, he signed a contract with the German St. Pauli . On February 21, in a match against Munich-1860 , Cooper made his debut in the Second Bundesliga [6] .

In September 2015, Cooper returned to Arab Unido, playing for St. Pauli in just 125 minutes [7] .

In the summer of 2016, Cooper was rented by the Canadian Toronto [8] . In his match against the Chicago Fire , he made his MLS debut [9] . Armando scored his first goal for Toronto on December 1 in a duel against Montreal Impact [10] . At the end of the season, the club bought a Cooper transfer. In 2017, he won the MLS Cup , but left the Toronto after the championship season [11] .

In early 2018, Cooper signed a contract with the Chilean Universidad de Chile . [12] On April 22, in his match against Union La Calera , he made his debut in the Chilean Example [13] .

In the summer of 2018, Cooper moved to the Romanian Dynamo from Bucharest [14] . In December 2018, Cooper and Dynamo terminated the contract by mutual agreement of the parties [15] .

In January 2019, Cooper signed a contract with the Israeli Maccabi from Petah Tikva [16] .

International Career

In 2007, as part of the Panama youth team, Cooper took part in the Youth World Championships in Canada .

October 7, 2007 in a match against the national team of Salvador Armando the national team of Panama . On January 16, 2011, in the Central American Cup match against Nicaragua, he scored his debut goal for the national team [17] .

In 2011, Cooper won the silver medal of the CONCACAF Gold Cup . At the tournament, he took part in fights against the teams of Guadeloupe [18] , Canada [19] , El Salvador [20] and twice the USA [21] [22] .

In 2015, Armando for the second time became the bronze medalist of the CONCACAF Gold Cup . In the tournament, he played in matches against the national teams of Honduras [23] , Trinidad and Tobago [24] , Mexico [25] and twice the USA [26] [27] .

In 2016, Cooper got into the team's application for participation in the America's Cup in the USA . At the tournament, he played in matches against the teams of Bolivia [28] and Argentina [29] .

In 2017, Cooper took part in the CONCACAF Gold Cup for the third time. In the tournament, he played in matches against teams in the USA [30] , Martinique [31] , Nicaragua [32] and Costa Rica [33] .

In 2018, Cooper took part in the World Cup in Russia [34] . At the tournament, he played in matches against the teams of Belgium [35] and England [36] .

In 2019, Cooper was included in the Panama national team for the CONCACAF Gold Cup [37] . In the first match in the group round against the national team of Trinidad and Tobago, he scored a goal in the 53rd minute and together with the team achieved a victory with the score 2: 0.
