Game career
Pupil of Dnepropetrovsk football. In the 2013/14 season he played in the youth team of Dnipro , where he scored 7 goals in 24 matches. In the summer of 2014 he moved to Olympic . In this team in the season 2014/15 he played 22 matches in the youth squad, scored 9 goals. On May 30, 2015, he made his debut in the Premier League in a game against Illichivets . Galenkov came out in the starting lineup and in the second half was replaced by Vladimir Doronin . Together with Galenkov another “Olympian” made his debut in this match - Evgeny Tsymbalyuk [1] . Previously, both of these players were included in the application for the cup match against Dynamo Kyiv [2] .
In July 2016 he moved to Chernihiv Desna [3] . In preparation for the resumption of the championship in the spring of 2017, he scored a hat-trick in a match with a representative of the Premier League Lutsk Volyn , who was beaten with a score of 4: 1 [4] . In the 2016/17 season, together with the team, he became the silver medalist of the First League. According to the regulations, Desna was supposed to go to the Premier League, however, it was refused certification, and the next season the team started again in the First League.
In March 2018, Galenkov signed a new contract with Desna for a period of 2.5 years, after which he transferred to Sumy on a rental basis until the end of the season, as he lacked playing practice [5] . Together with him, on the basis of a lease agreement, the team was supplemented by Desna midfielder Ilya Kovalenko. “Sumy” at that time was in the relegation zone, however, by the start of the spring part of the season they came out with a significantly changed composition and a new coaching staff [6] . In the first match, the team with the participation of Galenkov won 4-0 over the representative of the group of leaders, the Kharkov Helios [7] [8] . In an away match with Poltava , claiming to enter the Premier League , Sumy won with a score of 2: 1. Galenkov scored a goal in this game and earned a free kick, from which an account was opened [9] .
