Biography
Born into a peasant family.
After the death of his mother, from 1951 to 1953 he was brought up in an orphanage, and from July 1953 he worked on the collective farm "Red Banner" (Orenburg Region).
In November 1954 he moved to Novosibirsk , where he worked at the Sibselmash plant as a turner-presser, and after completing courses in December 1962, he became the driver of the Kirov trolleybus depot. He participated in a socialist trolleybus competition without major repairs and overfulfillment of the passenger transportation plan.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of August 14, 1986, for the early fulfillment of the eleventh five-year plan, Sergei Antonovich Yavnov was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Hammer and Sickle medal .
After changing the route network, since 1991 he worked as a driver of the Lenin trolleybus depot, and in 1993 he retired. He did a lot for the veteran organization of the Leninsky district .
