Shchukinsky Forest Park ( Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo II [1] ) - a forest park in the North-Western District of Moscow in the area of Schukino . It is part of the Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo forest park. The forest area is 22 hectares [2] . The forest park has the status of a specially protected natural area [3] .

Geographical location
Shchukinsky forest park is located in the north-west of Moscow in the Shchukino area. The forest is limited by three streets: in the north - Schukinskaya ; in the east - Academician Kurchatov and in the south-west - Marshal Vasilevsky . The nearest metro station is Schukinskaya [2] .
Flora and Fauna
Previously, the territory was occupied by a pine forest - Great All Saints Grove . From it there were several trees, the average age of which varies about one hundred and fifty years [2] .
The remaining trees were planted quite recently. Among them, mainly grow: birch , elm , maple , linden, larch . The largest number of trees from the young generation is occupied by maple [2] .
Land in a forest park is rarely covered with grass. Herbal crops are represented by sedge, hairy , tenacious creeping , ferns and sapon [2] .
Three species grow in the forest park, which are included in the Red Book of the city of Moscow: May lily of the valley, curly sprays ( mushroom cabbage ), and corydalis dense [4] .
The fauna in the territory is represented by some species of birds and small animals (squirrels, rodents) [2] .
Alleys, paths are laid in the forest park, playgrounds are equipped. Locals often come here for recreation [2] .
