Biography
Alexandra Ivanovna Petrovicheva was born on May 5, 1937 in the village of Dezhino (now - Smolensk region ). She remained an orphan early, was brought up with her grandmother. She graduated from seven classes of the school, after which she lived in Moscow . Since 1953, she worked at the Dynamo Moscow Electric Machine-Building Plant named after S. M. Kirov , first in the stamping and then in the foundry [1] .
In a short time, having mastered the specialty of a pivot worker, Petrovicheva worked in this position until retirement, showing good results in work, constantly exceeding the norm. So, the plan of the ninth five-year plan was fulfilled for her in three and a half years [1] .
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of January 3, 1974, for “outstanding success in fulfilling and overfulfilling the 1973 plans and assumed socialist obligations,” Alexandra Ivanovna Petrovicheva was awarded the high title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Hammer and Sickle Medal [1] .
She was elected a deputy of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR , a deputy of the Moscow Soviet , a delegate to several congresses. Currently, Petrovicheva is retired, lives in Moscow [1] .
She was also awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor and a number of medals, including the Gold Medal of the Exhibition of Economic Achievements of the USSR [1] .
