DescriptionThese are large and noisy birds. The body length reaches 50 cm, the weight ranges from 200 to 300. Plantain banana-donors lack the bright colors of their relatives from the Turaco genera, their color is mainly gray or black, they have a long tail and crest on their heads, which they can lift and to lower.
NutritionFood consists of fruits , especially figs , seeds and other plant foods.
ReproductionFemales are no different from males. They nest in trees, where they build a loose platform (nest) from twigs and lay 2-3 eggs there.
