The Novoshchapovsky rural district is an abolished administrative and territorial unit that existed on the territory of the Klin district of the Moscow region in 1994–2006.

Novoshchapovsky village council was formed in 1929 as part of the Klin district of the Moscow district of the Moscow region by combining Opalevsky and Maksimkovsky with / s.
On July 17, 1939, Yasenevsky s / s ( Belavino , Bolshoi Shchapovo , Maloye Shchapovo , Shevelevo and Yasenevo villages) was attached to Novoshchapovsky s / s.
On May 9, 1952, the village of Prasolovo was transferred from Maidanovsky with / s to Novoshchapovsky.
On June 14, 1954, the Naprugovsky Village Soviet was attached to Novoshchapovsky s / s.
On August 27, 1958, the villages of Melenki and Sokolovo were transferred from Novoshchapovsky with / with Popelkovsky .
On February 1, 1963, the Klinsky district was abolished and Novoshchapovsky s / s entered the Solnechnogorsk rural area . January 11, 1965 Novoshchapovsky s / s was returned to the restored Klin district.
February 3, 1994 Novoshchapovsky s / s was transformed into Novoshchapovsky rural district [2] .
In the course of the 2004–2005 municipal reform, the Novoshchapovsky rural district ceased to exist as a municipal unit. Moreover, its settlements were transferred partly to the rural settlement of Zubovskoye , and partly to the urban settlement of Klin [3] .
November 29, 2006 Novoshchapovsky rural district is excluded from the accounting data of administrative-territorial and territorial units of the Moscow region [4] .
