Oleg Vladimir Danilenko (born February 27, 1970 in Novosibirsk , the RSFSR , the USSR ) is a Russian hockey player . Forward of the Russian national team for sound hockey . Champion of the Winter Olympic Games (2015) , world champion (2013) and Europe (2014). Honored Master of Sports of Russia .

Biography

Oleg Vladimirovich Danilenko was born on February 27, 1970 in Novosibirsk . Oleg has 100% hearing loss ( totally deaf ). [1] He began to practice hockey at the age of 6 in a regular sports school. [2] Member of the Russia Deaf Ice Hockey National Team since 1995. He trained at Sytov Valentin Ivanovich in MAU “NTsVSM” (Novosibirsk). [3] After the 18th Winter Deaflympic Games in Khanty-Mansiysk, he decided to end his sports career. [2] Member of the 2014 Paralympic Torch Relay in Novosibirsk [4] .

  • Participant of five Deaflympic Winter Games: 1995, 1999, 2003, 2007, 2015;
  • Champion of the 18th Deaflympic Winter Games (2015);
  • Silver medalist of XV Deaflympic Winter Games (2003);
  • Two-time bronze medalist of the Deaflympic Winter Games (1995, 2007);
  • World Champion (2013);
  • European Champion (2004);
  • Multiple winner of the Russian ice hockey championships (deaf sport);
  • Multiple winner of the Russian ice hockey championships (deaf sport).

Personal:

  • MVP of the final match of the World Cup 2013 [1] .

Awards and sports titles

  • Certificate of Honor from the President of the Russian Federation ( April 8, 2015 ) - for the outstanding contribution to enhancing the authority of the Russian Federation and Russian sports at the international level and high sports achievements at the 18th Winter Olympic Games in 2015 [5] .
  • The certificate of honor of the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region ( April 22, 2015 ) - for a successful performance at the Deaflympics and a worthy representation of the Novosibirsk Region. [6]
