Biography

Born on October 24, 1934 in the town of Kamen-na-Obi, Altai Krai.

He graduated from the 3 courses of the Moscow Music and Pedagogical Institute named after the Gnesins.

In 1957 he served as an artist of the choir in the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Soviet Army.

From 1957 to 1958 he worked as a mechanic of plant number 83.

In 1958 he entered the Novosibirsk State Opera and Ballet Theater as an artist of the theater.

In 1963 - artist of the operetta of the Krasnoyarsk Music and Drama Theater.

In 1966 he served as a soloist of the operetta in the Tomsk Music and Drama Theater and the Azerbaijan State Theater of Musical Comedy.

From 1966 to 1977 - Soloist of the Ivanovo Theater of Musical Comedy .

In July 1973, he was awarded the title “Honored Artist of the RSFSR” for his great creative achievements.

In 1977―86. leading soloist of the State Musical Theater of the Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic .

November 19, 1985 awarded the title of People's Artist of the Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.
