Mashadi Mammad Farzaliev ( azerb. Məşədi Məmməd Fərzəliyev ) is an Azerbaijani singer-hanande, a performer of mugams from the beginning of the 20th century.

Biography
Mashadi Mamed Farzaliev was born in 1872 in the city of Shusha . He was educated at Harrat Cooley School [2] .
From 1912 to 1915, 40 mugams, tesnifs, and folk songs performed by Farzaliev were recorded on the records of the Sport Record ( Warsaw ) and Extraphone ( Kiev ) campaigns. Farzaliev gave concerts in Transcaucasia , Central Asia , European countries and Turkey [2] . Farzaliev was engaged in concert activities, performed at "Oriental concerts", in theatrical performances [3] .
Mashadi Mamed Farzaliev was distinguished by a strong voice of a wide range and high mastery of performance. He performed with great skill such zerbi-mugams as “ Shushter ”, “Chahargyakh”, “Kurd-Shahnaz”, especially “ Eirat ”, “Mansuriyye”, “ Karabakh Shikeste ” and others. [2] In the history of Azerbaijani art Hanande Meshadi Mamed Farzaliev is known for his masterly performance of the mugham “Shushter” [3] .
In 1923, he received an invitation to teach mugam at the newly opened city music school in Ganja , where he played a big role in the preparation of young hanenda. Since 1926, Farzaliev, accompanied by a trio of mugam performers, has repeatedly performed in many cities of Russia, Poland, Germany, France, Belgium, England, Romania, Turkey and Iran [3] . In 1929 he moved to Turkey, where he lived until the end of his life [3] . Farzaliev died in 1962 in Istanbul [2] .
