Content
Geography
It is located on the Trans-Siberian Railway , 20 km north of the center of Ulan-Ude , on the right bank of the Selenga River , south of the Trans-Siberian bridge crossings over the river.
History
On March 23, 1987, Mostovoy station from Ivolginsky district was transferred to the administrative subordination to the Railway District Council of the city of Ulan-Ude [2] [3] .
December 3, 2009 to the Zheleznodorozhny district the settlement of Ivolginsky district was added to the village of Mostovoy station [2] .
The Law of the Republic of Buryatia dated March 9, 2010 No. 1313-IV “On Amending the Law of the Republic of Buryatia“ On Establishing Borders, Establishment and Giving the Status of Municipalities in the Republic of Buryatia ””, urban settlements Zarechny, Sokol, Zabaykalsky, Istok, Soldatsky, Stepnoy, Tulunzha, the village at Mostovaya station are excluded from the list of settlements and are included in the city of Ulan-Ude [4] .
