Masleev, Dmitry Vladimirovich

Dmitry Vladimirovich Masleev (born May 4, 1988, Ulan-Ude ) is a Russian pianist, winner of the 1st prize and a special prize for the best performance of Mozart’s concert with the chamber orchestra of the 15th Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow (2015). In the final round of the competition he performed the first concert of Tchaikovsky and the third concert of Prokofiev .

Biography

Dmitry Masleev was born on May 4, 1988 in Ulan-Ude. At the age of seven, he began studying music at a high school music studio, the first teacher was Olga Chernykh, and at the age of ten he gave his first recital. In 2000 he entered the music school No. 5 of the city of Ulan-Ude, in 2001 he became the first winner of the international competition “Found”, regularly performed in the concert halls of the city. In 2002, Dmitry entered the Novosibirsk Musical College College named after M.I. Glinka. In 2004, he won the first prize at the fifth international competition of young pianists named after T.P. Nikolaeva (Bryansk). In 2006 he entered the Moscow State Conservatory. P. I. Tchaikovsky to the class of Professor M. S. Petukhov [1] , from whom he also studied in graduate school. In 2014-2015, he trained at the International Piano Academy on Lake Como ( Italy ).

Achievements

In 2011, he won the Chopin International Piano Competition (Rome, Italy), where he received the grand prize - a piano and a tour of 12 concerts in Italian cities. Laureate of the international competition to them. Adiliya Aliyeva in Gaillard, France (2010, 1st Prize), International Piano Competition named after Antonio Napolitano, Salerno, Italy (2013, 1st Prize). Laureate of the All-Russian Music Competition (2014, III prize). Winner of the XV International Competition named after PI Tchaikovsky in Moscow, 2015. Member of the project of the St. Petersburg House of Music "Young Performers of Russia" (2010-2011). Since 2015, the soloist of the Moscow State Academic Philharmonic .

Discography

In 2016, he took part in the project of the Melody company and conductor Alexander Sladkovsky recording all instrumental concerts by Dmitry Dmitrievich Shostakovich with the State Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan and laureates of the International Tchaikovsky Competition. Dmitry Masleev recorded the Second concert for piano and orchestra MEL CD 1002465 [2]

In 2017, Melodia released the first solo disc of the pianist MEL CD 1002517 [3]

Honored Artist of the Republic of Buryatia (2015). Laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Buryatia (2015).
