Finnish Football Championship 2015

Veikkausliga 2015 ( Fin. Veikkausliiga 2015 ) is the 85th season of the Finnish football championship . For the first time in history, the SIK club from Seinajoki won the championship title. In second place - RoPS from Rovaniemi . The champion title was defended by the HIK club, which eventually took 3rd place [1] .

Rules

General information

The championship involved 12 clubs. They play a three-circle tournament among themselves (33 rounds).

Euro Cup quota

The Finnish Champion starts in the UEFA Champions League from the 2nd qualifying round.

In the Europa League, Finland is represented by the owner of the country's cup, as well as the teams that took 2nd and 3rd places in the championship. If the cup is won by one of the first three teams of the national championship, then the place in the Europa League goes to the 4th team of the championship. All three Finnish teams will start in the Europa League from the 1st qualifying round.
