Hans von Donanyi ( German: Hans von Dohnanyi ; January 1, 1902 - April 8, 1945 ) is a German lawyer who participated in a conspiracy against Hitler .

Nephew of Dietrich Bonhoeffer , son of Ernst von Donany , father of Klaus von Donany and Christoph von Donany .
Born in Vienna in the family of a pianist of Hungarian descent. Having received a law degree, in May 1933 he began to work in the Ministry of Justice. In 1934 he became close to Karl Friedrich Goerdeler and other opponents of Nazism . In 1939 he was transferred to Abwehr and served as Sonderfuhrer at the headquarters of Admiral Canaris .
In March 1943, he took part in a failed attempted assassination attempt on Hitler along with Major General Henning von Treskov and Lieutenant Fabian von Schlabrendorff . A few months later, the Gestapo was arrested. Subsequently released, but after the July conspiracy in 1944 he was again arrested and sent to the Sachsenhausen concentration camp . He was executed in Flossenbürg in 1945.
