Criticism
Title Theft Charge
The socialist organization of the same name “ Left Opposition ” (one of the successors of the Marxist Organization ; its representatives create a new left-wing party, Social Ruh ), accused “representatives of the previous authorities (KPU), marginal Russophiles (Kievan Rus”) and the Black Hundreds (PSPU) that are parasitic on the left movement ”, in the theft of its name. According to a statement by her activist Nina Potarskaya, their organization is named after the left - wingers of the 1920s with whom they associate themselves (left-wing members of the Central Council and left- wing opposition as part of the CPSU (b) opposing the Stalinists) [1] .
Political Scientist Assessments
According to political analysts, the appearance of the “Left Opposition” primarily brought problems to the “ Opposition Bloc ”, and not to the authorities. This is explained by the fact that in the election, these political forces will fight for the same electorate [1] .
According to political expert Yevgeny Magda , such a “solid opposition” can lead to confusion among voters; he does not even exclude the possibility that the authorities pushed the founders of the organization to this “political marriage” [1] .
