Netherlands International Drafts Championship for Men 2015

The Netherlands Men's Drafts Championship 2015 ( Nederlands . Nederlands kampioenschap dammen 2015 ) was held from April 10 to 18 in the city of Emmelord in a round robin system in 11 rounds.

12 drafts players took part in the final tournament, including 5 international grandmasters.

The website of the championship worked, information was published in the Dutch press. Among the innovations: each round to one of the participants (with his consent) throughout the game measured the pulse.

Tournament

The first round ended with peace talks in all parties. Then Alexander Balyakin scored 4 victories in a row and the whole tournament was in the lead. The future champion Rule Bomstra in the first five rounds played 4 draws and won one victory. Gradually, the difference between them narrowed, and in the last round the reigning Dutch champion was overtaken by points by the vice world champion and ahead of the number of “pluses” (the difference between “+ no one's” and “no one's”).

Three athletes fought for third place, bronze in the best balance +/- of the draw was in Auke Scholm.
