Story
Tom watches the episode Part Time Pal , where he chases Jerry until he hits a wall, and then where Jerry tries to eat the corn that Tom grabs. Jerry runs away from Tom, scattering all the milk bottles on the floor, where Tom slips and falls on them. Tom stops the episode. The next episode of Nit-Witty Kitty is shown where Tom eats cheese on a makeshift swing from a board and a tin can, and Jerry from the closet throws a bowling ball on a swing and Tom hits the ceiling, jumping back, the bowling ball falls on his head and Tom does pause The next episode of Johann Mouse is shown, where Tom slides down the stairs to catch Jerry, but breaks the window and falls there. Tom rewinds and checks the height of the measurements of the disaster, where he writes in a notebook. Next, the next episode of The Yankee Doodle Mouse is shown, where Jerry smiles while watching this clip and pulls popcorn from his hole.
The next episode of Heavenly Puss is shown, where Tom meets an untimely piano death that fell from a ladder in an attempt to catch Jerry. Tom rewinds the episode where he just begins to pull up the carpet and plays the scene a second time. When Jerry starts laughing, Tom spends his calculations on the frame, where he writes in a notebook and chases Jerry, but hits his head against the wall. Tom nails a mouse hole with nails.
Tom admires the plan for his integrated mousetrap (implemented on the basis of the Goldberg machine ). Jerry gets out of his hole and finds a trap, where he changes the dimension in the drawing so that the trap is unsuccessful (as he did in the episode of Designs on Jerry ). The trap is set, but the safe (part of the trap to catch) falls on Tom instead of Jerry. The final scene shows us where Jerry shoots the bandaged Tom at the camera, which breaks the plan of the complex mousetrap, from which he himself had suffered.
