Biography
Throughout his club career, he played only for FC Sarajevo (1951-1967) and, having played 646 matches until his death, he remained the club's record holder for this indicator. Champion of Yugoslavia (1967).
At the Summer Olympics in Melbourne (1956), he joined the national team that won silver medals, but at the tournament he played only one match - the semi-final in which the Yugoslavs beat India with a score of 4: 1.
In 1996, he trained the Iranian football club Bar Shiraz for a short time.
