Tina Trstenjak ( Slovenian. Tina Trstenjak , born August 24, 1990 in Celje ) is a Slovenian judoka , Olympic champion in 2016, world champion in 2015, European champion in 2016 and 2017, winner of World Championships, European Championships and European Games.

Biography
Born in 1990. In 2013 she became the bronze medalist of the European Championship. In 2014 she became a bronze medalist of the World Cup and a silver medalist of the European Championship. In 2015, she won the silver medal of the European Games.
In April 2016 in Kazan for the first time became the champion of Europe , beating Austrian Catherine Unterwurtzer in the final category up to 63 kg.
At the 2016 Rio Olympic Games on August 9 in the 63 kg category, Tina successively defeated Italian representative Edwig Gwend, Chinese Yang Junxia , Brazilian Mariana Silva and Frenchwoman Clariss Agbenienu and won Olympic gold. At the same time, Trstenyak did not allow the opponents to score a single point.
At the end of 2016, Trsteniak was recognized as the best athlete of the year in Slovenia .
