Economy
In 2010, out of 7292 people of working age (from 15 to 64 years), 5113 were active, 2179 inactive (activity indicator 70.1%, in 1999 - 67.1%). Of 5113 active able-bodied residents, 4539 people worked (2388 men and 2151 women), 574 were unemployed (265 men and 309 women). Among 2179 able-bodied inactive citizens, 723 were pupils or students , 725 were pensioners , and another 731 were inactive for other reasons [7] [8] .
Throughout 2010, there were 4,536 taxable households in the commune, in which 11,499.5 people lived. The median income was € 19,207 per taxpayer [9] .
