“Lisa the Vegetarian” (from English - “Lisa is a vegetarian”) is the fifth episode of the seventh season of the animated series “ The Simpsons ”. Expressed in the Lisa's Wedding series, the hint that Lisa will become a vegetarian finally turns into reality.

Story
After going to the children's zoo, Liza , who saw a lamb there, cannot eat meat for lunch. She has problems at school: her refusal to dissect the worm and the request for vegetarian food in the school cafeteria are considered by the administration as freethinking. In the Lysine class, they show a movie that pokes fun of vegetarianism, and none of the students takes the side of Lisa. At home, the girl also does not find support: Homer and Bart chant: "You will not surprise your friends with a salad, you will not surprise them with a salad!" In addition, after a barbecue at Flanders , Homer decides to have her own party, and this bothers Lisa. She cooks gazpacho for the celebration, trying to keep the guests from eating meat, but this only causes ridicule. And when the girl goes to her room, a hamburger cutlet accidentally flies into her window and slaps her face.
Angry, Lisa pushes the cart with the roasted pig, the main dish of the holiday, and it disappears without a trace. Homer stops talking to his daughter, the situation in the Simpsons' house is heating up. Yes, and classmates still laugh at Lisa. Tired of the general misunderstanding, she goes to the shop "In haste" and eats a hot dog. Apu tells the girl that the hot dog does not contain meat, because he is a vegan himself. He leads Lisa to her secret garden, where she meets with Paul and Linda McCartney and understands with them that, although she is a pity for animals, she must be tolerant of those who do not share her views.
